I've been following John Thomas Degnan III's case for quite some time now, and something I can't wrap my head around is the detail about his car. Does anyone else find it strange that his vehicle was left in the driveway? If John really intended to go away for a while, wouldn't he have needed his car to get wherever he was heading? It makes me wonder if he truly left on his own or if he planned to meet someone who picked him up. It's such a puzzling aspect since, as far as I know, there's never been any mention of anyone seeing him get into another vehicle. Also, considering this was 1980, it's fascinating to think about how different things might have been in terms of tracking someone's activities. Nowadays, with cell phone records and digital footprints, we'd probably have more to go on. Back then, if someone just disappeared, it feels like it would have been so much easier to vanish without a trace. Just a thought that's been lingering with me – hoping we eventually learn more as advancements in technology and investigation techniques continue to evolve!

Has anyone else been curious about the choice of clothing John Degnan was wearing when he disappeared? A rust-colored t-shirt with a Fisherman’s Wharf logo, blue polyester slacks, and those blue and silver sneakers seem like a very distinctive outfit. Considering it was the 1980s, I suppose it might not have been that unusual, but could it indicate where he was planning to go or what he was intending to do? Maybe there's some significance to it that we’re not seeing. It could be something as simple as his favorite outfit or have some personal connection to a location or event. It's strange to think how many details like this are often overlooked or forgotten, yet might hold the key to understanding someone’s last known actions. Anyone have thoughts on whether this could be more significant than it seems?
