Hey everyone,
I've been reading about Ursula Miltenberger and can't help but reflect on what a bright future she had ahead of her. It’s devastating to think about how she had just started her career after earning a degree in computer science—a field dominated by males at the time. The courage and determination she must have had to enter that field are truly inspiring.
It makes one wonder about all the innovations and contributions she could have made if her life hadn't been so cruelly cut short. Has anyone come across any anecdotes or memories from classmates or colleagues that showcase her potential or character? I’d love to hear more about the impact she made in her short time.
Sending strength to her family and friends who still carry the weight of this loss.
Stay safe, everyone.
Has anyone else looked into Ursula Miltenberger's background in computer science? I just found out she graduated from Shepherd College, and it makes me wonder what kind of impact she could have had in the tech world. In 1977, not many women were pursuing careers in computer science, so Ursula pursuing her passion must have been incredible. It’s so devastating that her potential was cut short by Montie Rissell's horrific actions. It's gut-wrenching to think about what Ursula and others like her might have accomplished had their lives not been interrupted by such senseless violence. My thoughts are with her family and friends as they continue to remember and honor her. Does anyone have more insights into her career aspirations or personal achievements in tech?
