Has anyone else looked into how the discovery of Delores Williams and the other victims at Star Lake Road might have changed public or police attention towards missing women at that time? It seemed like for so long, these cases weren't getting the attention they deserved. The fact that Delores, Alma, Sandra, and Terri were found together suggests to me that this should have been a massive turning point in the investigation. I can't imagine the pain their families went through during that long wait for answers. I hope the discovery of these brave girls shined a light on the cases of other missing women and pushed authorities to coordinate better efforts in bringing justice. The fact that their disappearances were lost in the shuffle for so long is just so frustrating.
