I've been thinking a lot about Terri Rene Milligan and her dreams. It truly saddens me to imagine the ambitions she had, especially wanting to go to a prestigious school like Yale. It's such a stark reminder of how the harsh realities of life can derail even the brightest futures, particularly for young people who encounter unexpected challenges. Terri's story resonates with me, not just because of the tragic end she faced but because it highlights the vulnerabilities she and many others dealt with. The circumstances that led her down a difficult path show a side of society that often gets overlooked. It's infuriating to think of how many young women found themselves in similar situations, and the system wasn't there to support them. Reading about her case and knowing she was only 16 breaks my heart. I hope that by sharing her story, we can keep her memory alive and maybe draw attention to the systemic issues that still need addressing today. My thoughts go out to her family and friends who have had to carry this loss with them. They deserve answers and justice, and I hope sharing information and discussing her life can help keep the dialogue going.
