I was digging through some old articles about Theresa Elizabeth Bishop’s disappearance, and something caught my eye: the fact that she was in the middle of moving at the time. Does anyone else find this significant? I mean, moving can be a chaotic time, with lots of stuff boxed up and maybe even people helping out who don’t normally come around. Could there have been an opportunity for someone to take advantage of the confusion? Or maybe someone she thought she could trust who was helping with the move? It's just a thought, and I’m curious to hear what others think about this angle. Maybe it's worth discussing whether her moving could have made her more vulnerable around that night at Diamond Jim’s.
Has anyone looked into the specifics of the purse Theresa had with her the night she disappeared? I know it might sound trivial, but sometimes the smallest details can be the most telling. A large, dark brown purse seems significant to me because if it's ever recovered, it could be a crucial piece of evidence. Does anyone know if it was ever found, or if there were any belongings in it that might help narrow down her last known activities or the people she spoke with? If it was distinct looking, maybe someone saw it somewhere else after that night? I feel like revisiting these small details could shed new light on things inspectors might have missed back then. Just a thought, but I wonder if anyone has dug into that angle?
