Theresa Elizabeth Bishop, aged 20, was last seen on October 2, 1981, in Abilene, Texas. She disappeared after spending the evening at Diamond Jim's, a local nightclub. According to reports, she was last observed speaking with several unidentified men at the venue. At the time of her disappearance, Bishop was wearing blue jeans and a beige blouse with stripes and was carrying a large dark brown purse. Bishop was in the process of moving when she went missing, adding complexity to her case.
