Has anyone else heard about how crucial Jose Ramirez Gonzales's testimony was during the trial? It's honestly incredible and chilling that he managed to survive such a terrifying ordeal by pretending to be dead. The bravery and composure he must have shown at that moment just amazes me. Surviving a brutal attack like that and then having the strength to face Reid in court must have been immensely difficult, but without his courageous actions, justice for Robert Sewell and the others might have been harder to achieve. I can't even imagine the fear and strength it took to step into that courtroom and relive such a traumatic event, but his testimony was crucial in ensuring that Reid could no longer harm anyone else. My heart goes out to the families who lost their loved ones during this nightmare.
