I've been following Dorothy Miller's case and can't stop thinking about her final days. It’s so haunting to imagine her sitting on that porch, unaware of what was about to happen. The level of betrayal she faced is beyond comprehension. Dorothy was a U.S. Army veteran who served her country, and it’s heartbreaking that her life ended in such a cruel manner. It's distressing that she couldn't find a safe haven in what should have been a caring environment.
Puente’s methodical way of manipulating these vulnerable individuals under her care is chilling. It makes me wonder how she managed to gain their trust, only to exploit and ultimately harm them. Dorothy deserved so much better than being drugged, bound, and buried like that. I can’t help but feel for all the families involved, hoping they found some peace after Puente was finally captured and brought to justice.
To those who once knew Dorothy, she may have been another victim in a twisted story, but posts like this help keep her memory alive. Let's ensure her story, and those of others affected, continue to be told so such tragedies may hopefully be prevented in the future.
