I've been thinking about the timeline of these tragic events in the 'St. Croix Poisonings', particularly Carmen Torres and Edsel Striden's case. It's so haunting to imagine Carmen leaving her home that evening, not knowing it would be her last. What's really puzzling is Edsel slipping a small bottle into his pocket before they left. What could that have been? Could it possibly have some connection to the cyanide poisonings?
Also, the fact that both Edsel and Carmen had their clothing soaked in seawater is another odd detail. Could the sea have been used as an attempt to cover up the evidence or maybe even related somehow to the 'Obia' practices? These mysterious circumstances add so much complexity to the case. My heart goes out to their family, especially their daughter, who must be haunted by these unanswered questions every day. Does anyone else think the seawater detail could be significant, or possibly a signature of this 'Obia Man'? Let's keep discussing and see if we can piece anything together.
