I've been following the St. Croix Poisonings for a while now, and there's something about Edsel and Carmen's case that I've been pondering. Does anyone else find it odd that their bodies were soaked with seawater? I understand that they were found near the beach, but why would their clothes be drenched? It makes me wonder if there’s a connection between the location and the method 'The Obia Man' used to lure them into his deadly trap.
There's also the detail about the missing $54,000, which makes me think that the killer could have orchestrated everything with much more precision than just preying on their financial desperation. I can't help but speculate that the seawater could be symbolic in some way or even part of the ritualistic approach that's been suggested in other threads. Maybe the killer used the location to his advantage, knowing it'd wash away evidence? I hope authorities are looking into every environmental detail, as it may be a significant piece of this twisted puzzle. My heart goes out to their families and everyone affected by these tragic events. It's chilling to think how trust in the wrong person can lead to such devastating outcomes.
