I've been reading some more about the tragic murder of Del Dean Herndon and his aunt Berta, and I can't get over the brutality of it all. It's absolutely haunting to think about what they went through. One detail that's been sticking with me is the use of shoelaces and heavy wire to bind their hands. It's such a chilling thought that someone could approach them with such calculated violence. I really feel for their family and can’t even begin to imagine how this loss has impacted them over the years. It’s a little comfort to know that Pizzuto was caught and has been held accountable, but the pain and trauma for their loved ones must still linger. Just sharing some thoughts, as this case weighs heavy on my mind.
