Has anyone else found it strange that William Garlick’s wallet was left in the abandoned Corvette? ? I mean, if someone had robbed them or there was some kind of foul play, wouldn’t they have taken the wallet? Or maybe it was left as some kind of sign or message? Could it have fallen out during a struggle, or was it placed there deliberately? Also, why abandon the car at a busy place like the Bangor Mall? That seems like it would draw attention pretty quickly. The whole situation just seems off to me. Does anyone nearby remember noticing anything unusual at the time, like a struggle or strange activity in the parking lot? Any theories on why the car was abandoned there of all places?

Has anyone ever probed into the possibility that John and William's disappearance could be related to the mysterious $22,000 debt they went to collect? The fact that their car was found with the ignition torn apart makes me wonder if something unexpected happened during their trip. Maybe the debt involved more people than just the person they were going to see, and multiple individuals became involved. It’s just so strange that both men vanished without a trace. Was there ever any investigation into the person they were supposed to meet in Alton? Could they have known something was off, but felt it was something they could handle? This case is such a puzzle, and I wish there were more clues to piece this all together.

Was anyone here aware of this odd detail about the Corvette's ignition being torn apart when John Joyce and William Garlick's car was found? It’s super strange because it suggests someone might have tried to hotwire it, but why leave it at a busy mall parking lot? It seems too exposed if this was meant to be a clean getaway or cover-up. Maybe the perp wanted it to be found or needed to ditch it quickly? What do you all think is the significance of the wallet being left behind? It’s fascinating how small clues can leave us with more questions than answers. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this!
