It's truly troubling how Paula Nelson's case has so many unanswered questions. I can't help but wonder about the critical window of time between when Perkins was asked to return the keys and the discovery of Paula's body. It's hard not to be frustrated knowing Reginald Perkins continued to be a menace afterward, tying him to other tragic crimes. My heart goes out to Ramola Washington, who had to navigate her own relationship with Perkins while dealing with the immense loss of her sister. It must be terrifying to learn someone you trusted could be capable of such horrific acts. It’s so important that we keep discussing Paula’s case, honoring her memory, and pushing for unsolved cases to get the attention they deserve.

Has anyone else been struck by the tragic sequence of events leading up to the loss of Paula Nelson? It's so devastating to think about how her life was intertwined with someone as dangerous as Reginald Perkins. Her sister, Ramola, must have been living with so many conflicting emotions when coming to terms with the implications surrounding her own boyfriend being a suspect in her sister’s death. It's hard to imagine the weight on her shoulders throughout those years, especially after Perkins' subsequent crimes came to light. The fact that they even had to interact with someone capable of such things is beyond comprehension. Does anyone know if Ramola ever spoke publicly about the case or their relationship? I can't help but wonder how she's managed after all that unfolded. Thoughts with Paula's friends and family during what must have been—and continues to be—a difficult reality.
