I've been reading more about Margaret Rohrbough's tragic case, and something that stood out to me was Parker's military background. It's chilling to think that someone trained to protect could commit such heinous acts. I wonder if his time in the Marines played any role in his capability for violence or in developing such a twisted modus operandi. I can't imagine how Margaret's family felt, waiting years for answers and then finding out what really happened. It's a stark reminder of how important it is to secure our homes and be vigilant, even in what feels like a safe community. Sending thoughts to all impacted by this.
