Hey everyone,
I was thinking about Jeremiyah Moore's case, and it just breaks my heart how these unresolved cases continue to pile up. One thing that's really been on my mind is the silence of witnesses. I can understand how fear and mistrust can make people hesitant to come forward, especially in a place where violence seems to be a constant presence. But I can't help but wonder how many pieces of the puzzle are out there, held by people who just haven’t spoken up yet.
Moore was only 27, so young, and to think his family and friends have to carry this unresolved loss is truly difficult to comprehend. His case just seems to reflect a much bigger issue that's been happening in Oakland and in many parts of the country. I really wish there was more that could be done to make people feel safe about coming forward. Maybe community outreach or programs to protect witnesses could help, but I'm not an expert.
Anyone else have any thoughts or ideas on how communities can help solve these cases? It feels like there has to be something more we can do collectively.
Sending love to Jeremiyah's family. ?
Looking forward to hearing from you,

I was reading about the unsolved case of Jeremiyah Moore, and I feel so deeply for his family and friends. It's such a shame that these incidents seem to reflect a larger issue in Oakland during that time. The 1100 block of 24th Street has earned quite a concerning reputation, but that doesn't make it any easier for those who lost Jeremiyah. The reluctance of witnesses to come forward must be so frustrating for his loved ones, knowing that someone out there might hold the key to solving this. I truly hope that with time, there will be a break in the case, and Jeremiyah's family can find the justice they deserve. It's tough seeing yet another case go unsolved, but let's keep discussing and bringing attention to this to hopefully spark some movement in the investigation.
