Hi everyone, I’ve been reading about the Sally Jo Tsaggaris case, and I just can't stop thinking about Cheryl Rose’s incredibly difficult situation. Could you imagine being there and witnessing something so horrifying, knowing your life could be at risk if you do something, but feeling desperate to help? Her testimony was obviously critical in securing a conviction against Nissensohn, yet she was also tangled up in a world surrounded by drugs and violence. It makes me wonder about the long-term impacts on her life and how she's coped with everything since then. It's tragic how addiction and fear can trap people in situations they'd never imagine for themselves. My heart goes out to both Sally's family and friends and to Cheryl, who had to relive that trauma over and over. I hope she found some peace and healing away from such a dark past. Would love to hear thoughts on how these dynamics play out in similar cases.
