Reading about Michael Trudeau's passing really hit me, especially since he seemed to have such a close-knit community both in Las Vegas and back in Michigan. I can't help but think about how difficult it must have been for his family to deal with everything from so far away. Organizing a memorial in Howell while grappling with their own grief, and perhaps the mystery surrounding his passing, must have been incredibly challenging. I wonder if the distance made it harder to get more information about what happened. It's just so sad to see someone so deeply loved and respected leave so many questions behind. Does anyone know if his friends or family ever held any public events or vigils after the service in May? I feel like community support plays such a huge role in helping people heal.
