After decades justice was served. Not sure why he only got 20 years. He took her life. But at least he is in jail.

Has anyone else been intrigued by Teresa Joann Peroni's case and noticed the strange circumstances surrounding her last known location? It's interesting that the argument with her boyfriend happened near that specific part of Illinois River Road. I'm curious if anyone knows more about that area in the early '80s. Was it a popular hangout spot or known for anything notable? It just seems odd to have a dispute escalate in such a secluded place unless there was a reason they went there regularly. Also, has anyone come across reports or sightings along that stretch before or after her disappearance? I feel like understanding more about the local dynamics during that time might provide new insights.
I’ve been following Teresa Joann Peroni’s case for a while, and something that’s always intrigued me is the location of her disappearance. The woods near the 1200 block of Illinois River Road seem like a pretty secluded area. I did a bit of research on that region during the early 80s, and it was known to be quite remote, with lots of dense forest. I wonder, does anyone know if there were any other incidents reported in that area around the same time? It seems like an easy place for something sinister to happen without being noticed. I can’t shake the feeling that someone out there knows something more… Maybe someone who was familiar with that area back then might have noticed something unusual? It’s a long shot, but anything could spark new leads!
