Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if anyone else has come across the details surrounding potential witness sightings before the tragic deaths of Christina and Mary Caldwell. I've read some discussions suggesting there were neighbors who heard suspicious activity in the days leading up to that awful night in February 1985. There might have been sounds of arguments or someone lurking in the area. Given the intensity of fear in San Francisco at the time because of the Night Stalker, it makes sense that people might have been more on edge, noticing things they might not have otherwise.
It's just so haunting to think about the proximity of such evil, and how the neighborhood's usual familiarity was shattered. I can't imagine the lasting impact this had on those living nearby, knowing what happened so close to their own homes. My heart goes out to the Caldwell family and anyone else who lived through that terrifying time. If anyone has more insights or memories from that period, I'd be really interested to hear about them.
Stay safe, everyone.

I've been thinking a lot about the proximity factor in the Caldwell sisters' murder case. It's devastating to realize how Richard Ramirez managed to target multiple locations across California with seemingly no pattern except for opportunity and accessibility. It makes me wonder if anyone else in that Telegraph Hill neighborhood might have noticed unusual activity around the time of the murders. It's a frightening reminder of how vulnerable we can be, even in our own homes. I can't imagine the trauma that must have surrounded the residents in that area, knowing someone like Ramirez was lurking nearby. My thoughts are with the family and friends of Christina and Mary, who had to endure the fear and loss during such a terrifying time. The randomness of it all, the invasion of a familiar space—it's haunting. If anyone has additional info about how neighbors responded during those tense months or about security measures that might have been taken afterward, I'd love to hear more.
