I recently came across this case, and it's been haunting me ever since. I just can't stop thinking about the absolute horror experienced by the families of Julie Castillo and the other victims. It’s deeply unsettling to imagine the fear and confusion they must have felt, not knowing the fate of their loved ones until that grim discovery. There's one detail that sticks with me: How could such evil exist so close to home without anyone noticing? It's chilling to think of Cory Morris living just like any other neighbor, all the while hiding such darkness within that camper. It makes me wonder about the signs that might have been overlooked and how we—as family members, friends, and neighbors—might prevent future tragedies by being more alert and supportive to those around us. Sending strength to the families and friends affected by this deeply disturbing case. My heart goes out to them as they continue to grapple with their loss and seek comfort in the memories of their loved ones. It’s a harsh reminder of the changes we need in our communities to better protect those most vulnerable.
