I've been thinking a lot about Doris Jean Stalker's case lately. It's so puzzling to me how quickly she vanished without a trace, especially with her purse left behind. I can't help but wonder about the grocery store parking lot, where she was last seen. Was there security footage from that time that was ever looked into? I know technology wasn't what it is today, but it seems like even older systems might have had something useful. It's hard to imagine how no one saw anything suspicious in those 10 minutes. Does anyone know more about the layout of that parking lot back in '83 or if there were any witnesses nearby? It's just troubling how someone can disappear in such a short span with hardly any clues to follow up on.
Hey all, I've been reading through the threads about Doris Jean Stalker's case from 1983, and something's been nagging at me. Has anyone looked into whether there were any reported sightings of unusual vehicles around the Super Duper Market parking lot on the night she vanished? It seems like a busy place, so maybe somebody noticed a car that didn't quite belong there or was hanging around for too long. With the passenger door left open on Doris's car, it makes me wonder if there was a quick interaction of some kind. I know it's been years, but sometimes that one small detail can lead to bigger revelations. Would love to hear if anyone else has thoughts on this angle or has come across mentions of suspicious vehicles in newspaper archives or old reports.
