I just wanted to take a moment to reflect on how Sandra’s legacy lives on through her work as a nurse's aide. It's clear from what I've read that she dedicated much of her life to caring for others at Proctor Hospital, Methodist Medical Center, and Bel-Wood Nursing Home. This shows she was someone who truly wanted to make a difference in people's lives, especially for those in need of care and compassion. It's devastating to think about how her life was cut short. Health care workers like Sandra spend so much of their lives helping others, and it's incredibly unjust that someone who gave so much to her community could be taken away in such a senseless act. My thoughts are with her son, Joseph, and her family, who must carry on without such a loving mother and sister. The whole situation really makes me think about the importance of community support for families and friends who have lost loved ones to violence. No one should have to face such grief alone. Please share any memories or stories about Sandra that can bring a bit of light in the darkness. She deserves to be remembered for the good she brought into the world.

Does anyone else find it incredibly disturbing how Sandra, along with Marcia Logue and Helen Dorrance, all ended up in such isolated rural areas? It’s hard not to wonder if the killer specifically chose these spots knowing they were so secluded. It makes me think about how vulnerable these women might have felt, especially given the remoteness of the locations. As someone who often drives through similar countryside areas, it definitely gives me pause to think how easily an area can shift from serene to sinister. My thoughts are with Sandra’s family and friends; losing someone in such a brutal manner must forever alter your sense of peace and safety. Have others in the area started feeling more cautious or changing their routines because of this? These cases just highlight the importance of community awareness and the need to always stay vigilant.
