I've been reading up on Kathy Novena Schenk's case, and something that stands out to me is the sheer determination and perseverance of the investigators who linked Joseph Miller to her murder. I can't even begin to imagine the pressure they must have been under to solve these horrific crimes, knowing that a dangerous man was still out there. It must have been such a whirlwind for Kathy's family, going through the devastation of her loss and then dealing with an ongoing investigation. For the detectives to ultimately connect all those dots, especially after Miller's dramatic standoff and confession, it shows incredible dedication to seeking justice for Kathy and the other victims. My thoughts go out to her family and the investigators who gave them some answers amid such tragedy.
