I’ve been following Brison’s case and something that keeps sticking with me is the fact that no arrests have been made yet. It’s troubling that whoever did this could still be out there. With 70 shell casings found at the scene, it seems like such a brazen act, almost as if they knew they could get away with it. I can’t help but wonder why a young father like Brison, who seemed to be so loved by everyone, would be the target of such violence. It makes me think there must be something more beneath the surface that we don’t know about. My heart goes out to his young son, Kyrie. Growing up without his father is going to be unimaginably tough. I really hope the community steps up to support him and his family as they navigate through this difficult time. If anyone has any insights or theories about why the investigation seems to be at a standstill, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the role of community in Brison's tragic death. It's really hard to wrap my head around how something so senseless could happen to such a promising young man. Brison was clearly adored by his family and community, and it’s evident in how everyone portrays him: a devoted father, a talented athlete, and a guy who held strong family values. It's obvious he meant so much to so many people.
Something that's been bugging me is how familiar the area is with hearing gunfire so often that it’s mistaken for fireworks. It just makes me wonder about the desensitization that's happening and how it affects people’s willingness or ability to come forward with information that could help catch Brison’s shooter.
Authorities recovered around 70 shell casings, which is an astronomical number. The fact that the community is shocked yet no arrests have been made really highlights the fear and possibly even a lack of trust in law enforcement. I'm really hoping that people feel empowered to speak up and help bring some closure to Brison's loved ones. It's just so difficult to fathom how someone with such a bright future could be taken down in such a violent way.
If you’re in the area, please stay safe and speak out if you know anything. Brison’s family deserves answers, and his son Kyrie deserves to grow up knowing that justice was served for his dad.
Sending all my thoughts to Brison's family and the San Antonio community right now.
