Has anyone else looked into the possibility that Ruth's disappearance might be tied to the activities of the male companion she was with in California? I read that he was wanted by the FBI, which could suggest he was involved in some dangerous or illegal dealings. Could she have inadvertently been caught up in something with him that led to her going missing? I wonder if law enforcement ever dug deep into his background and connections. It seems like there's potential for a lot of hidden threats when dealing with someone wanted by such a high authority. Plus, the fact that she was so confused and asking for her baby before getting out of the cab makes me think there were definitely more layers to her state of mind and maybe threats she was facing. Sometimes cases like this might seem straightforward, but there's so much happening underneath that we don't see. Would love to know if anyone has more details on his involvement or any theories about that angle.
