I’ve been following this case closely, and it’s incredibly difficult to understand how a moment of senseless violence can ripple outwards, affecting so many lives. Jazmien Rae-Lynn Hernandez was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, caught in the crossfire of a dispute that had nothing to do with her. My heart really goes out to her family and those two little girls she left behind. I can’t imagine the pain they’re going through right now. Also, if anyone is familiar with the area around the Best Western on Cunningham Road, is this a place known for such incidents? It’s unsettling to think you could be in what seems like an ordinary location and have your life changed forever. My thoughts are with all who are grieving this tragic loss.
