Does anyone else find it chilling how quickly this tragedy unfolded? I can't stop thinking about how the hunters found Virgil Thew's abandoned vehicle near Interstate 90 just a day after the incident. It makes me shiver to think he could still be lurking somewhere nearby. The proximity to the highway suggests he might have left the area, but there's always the unsettling thought that he could be hiding close by, waiting. I can't imagine how hard this uncertainty must be for the families, especially when they’re already navigating the immense pain of losing someone as vibrant as Skyla. The community's effort in helping with the search has been incredible, but I hope they remain vigilant and safe. Here's hoping that justice will be served soon, bringing some peace to Skyla’s family and the others affected.
Hey everyone,
I’ve just been reading about the tragic case involving Skyla Ane Chevelle Sorenson and it got me thinking about the pet therapy sessions some communities offer in schools. I can’t help but wonder if Meadow View Middle School has any programs like this in place to support the kids who are undoubtedly affected by losing their classmates, Skyla and Alexandria. Skyla’s love for animals would make it a fitting tribute, and I believe these programs can offer so much comfort to children dealing with such traumatic events.
For those who might not be familiar, pet therapy brings trained animals into schools to help kids cope with emotional and psychological stress. It’s a wonderful way to provide a bit of support in a really tough time. Does anyone know if the school or community has set something like this up? Or maybe there's something we could do collectively to reach out and offer support? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
My heart goes out to all the families involved. It’s hard to even imagine the pain they are going through.
