I've been following the Elizabeth Kolba case closely, and I can't stop thinking about the role the community played in bringing Virgil Thew to justice. It's incredible how people came together, sharing information and keeping an eye out during that tense manhunt. It truly shows the power and importance of community involvement in solving such heartbreaking cases. I can't even begin to imagine what Elizabeth's family and the families of those two young girls are going through right now. Their lives have been altered in such an unimaginable way, but I hope they find some solace knowing that so many people cared and did everything possible to help catch Thew. I'm curious if anyone has insights into how the authorities managed the influx of tips. Handling 172 leads must've been a massive undertaking, but it's evident they succeeded in part because of these community efforts. How do law enforcement agencies typically handle such a volume of information?
