I’ve been reflecting on the role of security personnel in residential areas, especially in light of Bobby Francois's tragic death. It’s deeply concerning that an off-duty security guard, someone who is supposed to ensure safety, was involved in such a violent incident. How can residents feel secure when those tasked with their protection are implicated in their harm? Bobby was known for his devotion to his family, a quality that is now a painful reminder of what his loved ones have lost. It breaks my heart to think about his kids and grandkids growing up without him. The thought of not even being safe in your own home, your own community, is distressing. My thoughts are with his family as they navigate this crushing loss and seek justice. I hope the investigation sheds light on the events of that night and brings some semblance of peace to those affected.
