I've been following the tragic case of Sergeant Nevada Paul Krinkee, and one thing that haunts me is the story of the standoff day. The community must have been in such turmoil knowing that an armed suspect was on the loose for over 30 hours. I can't imagine the stress and fear felt by the residents and law enforcement during that time. The decision to breach the roof with an excavator is something I've never heard of before. It shows the extent law enforcement went to resolve the situation while trying to protect the community. My thoughts go out to Karla and their daughter; it's hard to comprehend the loss they are facing. How does a family even begin to rebuild after something like this? It just reinforces the respect I have for those who put their lives on the line every day to protect us.

I came across something pretty shocking in this case that hasn’t been discussed much. It's been troubling to learn that Eileen Hurley, who provided firearms to Lowery despite his prohibited status, is facing charges. It seems wild to me that someone would go to such lengths to arm a person who legally shouldn't possess weapons. I'm wondering if there were any previous signs or incidents with her that might have hinted she'd do something like this. I can't help but feel for Sergeant Krinkee's family and the whole Sheridan community, grappling with the aftermath of her decisions and this tragic event. It's just so unsettling to think how a decision like hers can lead to such a devastating outcome. If anyone knows more about previous interactions or issues with Hurley, I’d be interested to hear about it. My heart truly goes out to Karla and their daughter, who must be going through unimaginable pain.
