I’ve been thinking a lot about how Ashlee's family and friends must be coping. Ashlee Long seems to have been an incredibly warm and loving person who touched many lives. It's just so senseless to lose someone in such a random, violent way. The fact that it all stemmed from something as simple as a brush of the hand against a car is mind-boggling. I can’t imagine the heartache her fiancé and family must be going through. Attending her funeral and say goodbye right out of the blue must have been unimaginably tough. I’m hopeful the trial will bring some clarity and justice, but unfortunately, nothing can fill the void left by Ashlee's absence. Keeping her loved ones in my thoughts.
