I can’t stop thinking about how avoidable this tragedy was. It's such a reminder that firearms and substances just don't mix, no matter how relaxed or casual the setting might seem. Dylan was just so young, with so much life ahead of him, and it’s truly devastating that such an unnecessary decision cost him his life. I really feel for his family and friends who must be grappling with this unimaginable loss. It’s heartbreaking that Ashton now has to live with this, knowing that such a reckless moment has changed everything forever. This case has definitely made me think about how we often take safety for granted and how important it is to constantly remind those around us about the dangers of guns, especially when people might not be in the best state of mind to handle them responsibly.

I’ve been following the case of Dylan Treichel, and I just can't wrap my head around how something so preventable ended in such a devastating way. It’s haunting to think about the what-ifs – what if the gun hadn’t been there, what if they hadn’t been under the influence? It’s easy to point fingers, but it’s also a wake-up call about how serious and unforgiving firearms can be. My heart goes out to Dylan’s family and friends. I can’t begin to imagine the pain they’re going through after losing someone so young and full of life. The incident also highlights the importance of education around gun safety. Guns aren’t toys, and I hope this tragic event encourages more people to have serious conversations with their loved ones about the responsibilities that come with handling them. Sending love and strength to everyone touched by this loss.
