I came across an aspect of Hezikiah "Butter" Wilcox's life that truly struck me: his role as a father. It's clear from what I've read and heard from those who knew him that he wasn't just a dad; he was an incredibly dedicated and loving one. His kids—Jaylon, Janevaeh, Jakyvis, and Arii—were his world. He seemed to go above and beyond to ensure their happiness and well-being, and I find that deeply moving. In the midst of this tragedy, I can't help but think about how his children are coping with such a tremendous loss. Losing a parent so unexpectedly must be unimaginable, and I hope they have a strong support system around them during this time. Butter's love for his kids is evident, and I believe that love will always be with them, guiding and comforting them in the days ahead. Sending strength and love to his family as they navigate through this difficult journey. If anyone here knows of resources or support groups in the Powell or Clinton area that could help his family, please share. Let's do what we can to rally around them.
