It's so tragic and unsettling to hear about Rashan and Willie Robinson's case. My heart goes out to their families and the innocent bystander who was dragged into this nightmare. It's disturbing to think that this happened in broad daylight in such a public place, a spot most people wouldn't think twice about, like a Popeyes parking lot. With so many shots fired, it’s a wonder more people weren’t hurt. Thank goodness the man struck while sitting at Walgreens survived. I'm especially troubled by the fact that Rashan seemed to have had an inkling of danger looming over him, having expressed fears for his safety in the past. Whether or not those fears played a direct part in the events leading to his death remains a mystery. But it makes you think about how many people might live with these invisible threats hanging over them. It's really concerning that no arrests have been made yet. The white Chevy Malibu seems like a solid lead, so it's baffling that more details haven't emerged. I hope the police can quickly tie up these loose ends and bring those responsible to justice. This community deserves answers and to finally feel safe again. Keeping all involved in my thoughts.
