Wow, I came across Julie's case and was intrigued by the fact that she boarded the "Anastasis" in Port Antonio. I found it curious that her clothing and glasses were discovered on the beach. Could this mean she went for an early morning swim, or did she perhaps plan to meet someone? It's so odd that she just vanished. Has anyone looked into the possibility of local connections or someone who might have been on the ship or at the port that morning? It was early, so I imagine there weren’t many people around, but someone must have noticed something. I wonder about the ship's crew and other passengers and if they were ever questioned thoroughly.
I came across an old photograph of Port Antonio from the late '80s, and it really got me wondering. Back then, the harbor was bustling with activity, and I imagine there were lots of people around when Julie went missing. Does anyone know if there was ever a search of the surrounding area or if locals were interviewed about what they might have seen that morning? The fact that her clothing and eyeglasses were found on the beach seems like a significant detail. I'm curious if any evidence was recovered beyond these items. It's been so many years, but maybe someone recalls more from that time or knows of any follow-up by authorities.
Hey everyone, I recently came across Julie's case and something really caught my eye. I’m wondering if anyone has dug into the background of the ship "Anastasis"? It’s the last place Julie was confirmed to be before she went missing. I did some quick snooping around and found out it was kind of an unusual ship, used for medical missions at that time. Does anyone know if there was any reported trouble or strange activities on board around late February 1989? We probably shouldn't rule out anything that happened while she was still aboard. Maybe someone here has more insight on crew members or passengers during that period? Any thoughts?
