I was scrolling through the posts about Dakota Wayne Trent, and I can't get over how active he seemed in his community. I've been reading about his involvement in school activities and how he supported local events in Marshall. It's almost like every story shared paints a picture of a young man full of life and promise, taken way too soon.
I wonder if being so engaged with people and activities made him more vulnerable, or if it was just a random tragic encounter. The community outreach for information suggests that maybe someone knows something they're not saying. I sincerely hope someone speaks up soon. My thoughts are with Dakota's family, friends, and everyone dealing with this unimaginable loss.
I was just thinking about all the CCTVs that must be around that Weaverville Walmart. It’s a busy area, and you’d imagine there would be plenty of cameras to catch something leading up to Dakota’s tragic death. Has anyone heard if the police are looking into this angle? I’m sure they are, but it’s so hard not knowing any updates or if they have any solid leads from surveillance footage. I hope they have something that can help bring justice for Dakota and his family. Keeping them all in my thoughts. ?️
