Does anyone else find it disturbing how often jealousy seems to be a motive in cases like this? I can't stop thinking about those poor children and what they're going through right now. They're left without their dad, who clearly adored them. It's gut-wrenching to hear about the steps Johnny took to protect his partner, like installing a surveillance system, only to have someone still blindside him at his own doorstep. It just goes to show how real the threat felt to him. The fact that Snyder was a former state trooper makes it even harder to understand—someone trained to uphold the law is now allegedly responsible for such a violent act. Keeping Johnny's family and friends in my thoughts during this tough time. ?
Hello everyone,
I've been following the case of John 'Johnny' J. Rabbitz Jr., and it's just such a tragic situation for his family, especially his kids. What stands out to me is the timeline of events leading up to the shooting, particularly the fact that Rabbitz Jr. seemed to be very aware of Snyder's fixation on the woman they both had dated.
I guess what I'm curious about is how often Rabbitz Jr. or his girlfriend reported these instances to authorities before the tragic incident occurred. Were there warning signs that could've been picked up by law enforcement? I mean, given Snyder's law enforcement background, could this have affected how seriously his actions were taken prior to this?
I feel so deeply for Rabbitz Jr.'s daughters who have lost their father in such a senseless manner. It just seems like there could have been more preventive measures in place. My thoughts are with his family during this incredibly challenging time. ?
