I keep thinking about how Richard Ares might have just been trying to do the right thing, and now a family is grieving his loss. It's so upsetting to hear that a simple confrontation over graffiti could lead to something so tragic. I can't help but wonder what was going through the minds of those involved. Did they know the gravity of their actions? Also, the mention of an older black Honda Civic caught my attention. It's such a common car that it must be challenging for detectives to track down leads from that detail alone. Has anyone in the area noticed more than one vehicle matching this description hanging around lately? It's amazing how a tiny piece of information can sometimes unravel an entire case. It's terrifying to think that an attempt to keep the neighborhood clean and safe could end in such a devastating loss. I can't imagine what Richard's loved ones are going through right now. If anyone has any tips or even just suspicions, it could be invaluable to share them with the LVMPD Homicide Section. Let's hope they find justice for Richard soon.

Hey everyone, I've been following the case about Richard Ares, and something that's really sticking out to me is the choice of the vehicle involved. The older black Honda Civic seems like it could be a pretty common car, but it's odd to me that such a distinctive model would be used for something like this. It feels like it would stand out a bit more in the area, especially given the time of year and the fact that it's not exactly unknown to police now. If anyone is from the local area, do you know if this type of car is common around that neighborhood? Or maybe if it’s known to belong to someone who might be involved in tagging? I can’t help but wonder if the person driving was familiar with the streets around there. Really hoping that any little clue might help bring some justice for Richard and his grieving family. It’s so unfair that stepping up to do the right thing could end so tragically. Hoping they find peace and answers soon.
