I’ve been thinking a lot about the security environment at the Macy’s where Eric Harrison was killed. From what I've seen, this tragedy has really raised questions about the safety measures in place for guards like Eric and Christian Mitchell. It’s evident that Macy's had previous theft incidents, and it makes you wonder how much these issues were being actively addressed by management. Why weren't stronger measures taken if employees had already flagged concerns? I can't imagine the added burden for Eric’s family knowing this might have been preventable. It's a terrible situation where folks just doing their jobs end up paying the ultimate price. My thoughts are with Eric's family and all the store employees who must still face the aftermath of this every day. Does anyone know if there have been any safety policy changes at that Macy's since the incident?
