I've been following the case of Jovaughn "Jojo" Hill, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. It's hard to process how someone so cherished could have their life cut short like this. I've noticed a lot of people in the community are coming together to support each other, sharing memories of Jojo and setting up memorials in his honor in the East Linden neighborhood. I'm curious if anyone has heard anything about community efforts to improve safety in the area where Jojo was killed. It seems like there have been concerns about violence there before, and I'm hoping this tragedy might spark more attention and action. Maybe the city can look at enhancing street lighting or increasing patrols? Even small changes might prevent another family from going through what Jojo's loved ones are dealing with now.
