Did anyone else attend the vigil held for Junior Garza last night? I heard it was a beautiful tribute, and though I couldn’t make it myself, I’ve seen some photos and it’s clear how much he was loved. The community's turnout was really touching, with so many people coming together to honor him and support his family. It’s just so tragic that such a young life was taken this way. I really hope that someone comes forward with information that can help the police. No family should have to endure this kind of pain. Let’s keep spreading the word about the case in hopes of finding answers and bringing some semblance of peace to Junior’s loved ones.

I’ve been following the tragic case of Junior Garza for a bit, and I can’t help but be moved by the sheer senselessness of it all. I was reading about how that area of Portland, particularly Powellhurst-Gilbert, has been struggling with violence recently, and it just makes me wonder about the impact on families living there. It's terrifying to think that Junior was just a 17-year-old kid, probably with so many dreams and plans for the future, all taken away in an instant. One thing I keep thinking about is how it seems like nobody has come forward with any solid leads. I know it’s complicated and people might be scared, but there must be someone who knows or saw something. Maybe even the smallest detail could be the key to solving this. It’s just so important for the community to come together and support each other in times like this. Junior’s family deserves some answers and a sense of closure. My heart goes out to them and everyone who was close to him. This whole situation is just beyond devastating.
