I’ve been thinking a lot about the role of the community in Xavier Goodson’s case. It seems like from what I've read and heard, Xavier was well-loved and had a positive impact on those around him. It's just unfathomable that something like this could happen to someone who many say was such a pillar in the community. It's so important that we don’t let the fear and sadness overshadow the good he brought into the world. If anyone has information, it could really help not just to bring justice for Xavier but also to help other members of the community feel safer. While the police are doing their work, the voices and observations of residents could be critical in piecing together what happened. It's a reminder of how interconnected we all are and how everyone’s voice can contribute to finding answers.
