Has anyone looked into the background of Michael Hughes more closely? I'm just digging into this case, and while it's clear he had a violent history, I'm curious if there were any additional warning signs or if it seemed like anything was being done to prevent him from causing more harm. It's incredibly frustrating how often individuals with known violent pasts manage to slip through the cracks. Aiden James David and Giannh Viars deserved so much better, and it's heartbreaking to know that their lives were ended prematurely due to such preventable circumstances. I can't stop thinking about what more could have been done to protect them. Aiden seemed like such an amazing person, so full of potential and love for those around him. His friends and family truly lost someone special, and my heart goes out to them during this terrible time. If anyone has insight into why Hughes wasn't flagged more robustly given his prior conviction, I’d be interested to hear your thoughts. It's important that we learn from these tragedies to ensure that we can prevent similar situations in the future.
