Has anyone else been following the Joseph Johnson angle in this tragic case? It's so jarring to think about an 18-year-old being involved in something so violent. From what I've gathered, Johnson lived just two streets away from Richard Murphy. It leaves me wondering about the connection between them, if any. Did they know each other, or was this completely random? Also, it makes me consider the kind of environment and influences that could lead a teenager to commit such a heinous act. Just trying to wrap my mind around how these young lives, both of the victim and the alleged perpetrator, have been altered so drastically.
