Hey everyone, I recently came across a puzzling case that's been on my mind, and I wanted to share it here for discussion. The case involves Faye Elebith Wright from Detroit, who went missing back in October 1991.
What's really stuck with me is the discovery of her bloodstained jacket. I mean, it's not every day you find such a significant piece of evidence years later, yet it seems to have led absolutely nowhere. The jacket was found by her own daughter, no less, which is just beyond tragic. How is it possible that after all these years, there are still no substantial leads from something as crucial as this?
I just can't help but wonder if there were any further forensics done beyond identifying it as Faye’s jacket. Given the advances in technology since the '90s, is there a possibility that new tests could be run on the jacket? There must have been something else, right? It's baffling to think that it just stopped there with no fresh insights.
Also curious if anyone else around here knows if there were any specific theories or persons of interest that the police were focusing on at the time, especially given the proximity of her last known location to her ex-boyfriend's house. It's just strange that such a significant find in the neighborhood didn’t unravel more details about her disappearance. Would love to hear your thoughts on this!
