I've been thinking a lot about Devon Reid’s case and the location where the tragedy happened. Old Bergen Road and Merritt Street... Does anyone from Jersey City or nearby know if there have been other incidents in that area recently? I’m really curious about whether this spot is known for criminal activity, or if this incident seems completely out of character for the neighborhood. It just seems horrific that a simple commute could lead to something so terrible. My heart goes out to Devon's family and friends—nobody should have to face this kind of loss. If these streets harbor danger, maybe increased police presence could prevent another incident. Such a loss to the community, and I hope we see some answers soon.
