I’ve been following Deleatric Quarles' case closely, and I keep thinking about the magnitude of support and coordination that was required to apprehend the suspect, James Lewis Levi Jr. The fact that multiple agencies, including the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and the Atlanta Police Department, worked together says a lot about the gravity of the situation. It’s distressing to think about the chaos and fear that might have gripped the community during Levi’s flight across state lines. I can’t imagine the anguish Deleatric's family and friends felt during those weeks, knowing that the person responsible was still out there. It’s crucial for communities to come together in times like these, not only to assist law enforcement but also to support the victim's loved ones. I hope that this unity continues and helps bring to light the full truth of what happened.
