I wanted to touch on the chilling aspect of the surveillance footage in this case. It's truly haunting to think about Alexis being last seen alive with someone she trusted, and then seeing the calculated steps Gray took afterwards, caught on camera no less. The footage of him buying those construction materials while in a full-body suit is just unsettling. It paints such a stark image of premeditation in this tragedy. What really sticks with me is the question of what kind of mindset a person must have to plan out something so sinister. The fact that he was caught on camera multiple times, seemingly unfazed, is deeply disturbing. My heart goes out to Alexis's family and friends, especially her children. No one should have to endure such loss, and it's gut-wrenching to think about what they are going through right now. It's a reminder of how crucial it is for those experiencing domestic violence to reach out for support, even though I understand how difficult that can be. I hope this tragedy prompts more awareness and support for those in similar situations. Alexis deserved so much better, and I hope her story helps prevent future tragedies.
