I can't stop thinking about how the whole community came together to support Abieon Taylor’s family during the visitation and funeral services. I was there at the Scott Memorial Funeral Home on May 9th, and it was touching to see not just family and friends but a large turnout from across Yazoo City. It speaks volumes about how deeply Abieon was loved and respected. Seeing people share stories and memories really put into perspective how unfairly this young life was cut short.
It’s moments like these that remind us of the importance of community, especially in the wake of such senseless violence. Let’s continue to unite and support the family as they navigate this unimaginable loss. Keeping Abieon’s loved ones in my thoughts.
