I've been following the case in Minneapolis, and it's really shaken me. My heart goes out to Evan, Joseph, Merelle, and Leras's families. I can't imagine the pain they are going through right now. It's terrifying to think that someone can just open fire like that in such close quarters.
What baffles me the most is how Ortley was still on the streets given his lengthy criminal record. It's concerning that someone with such a history could still have access to firearms. This points to some gaps in the system that need addressing to prevent future tragedies. I hope the authorities look seriously into this aspect and make necessary changes.
The community seems quite affected, and I genuinely hope that justice is served swiftly for all those impacted by this senseless violence. Let me know if anyone has updates on how the families are coping or any organized community responses. We should all keep them in our thoughts.
I've been following the case of Evan Denny and the other victims in the Minneapolis shooting, and something that really strikes me is the bravery of the surviving victim. Despite suffering such a horrendous injury, they found the strength to communicate with the police and help identify the shooter. This courage is unimaginable and truly commendable.
I can’t even begin to imagine the trauma they've experienced and continue to endure, both physically and emotionally. Going through such an ordeal and still being able to provide crucial information to help the investigation is remarkable. My thoughts are with them and the families of all the victims as they navigate through this incredibly difficult time.
It's scary to think about how senseless acts of violence like this can completely alter lives in a blink of an eye. I hope justice is served swiftly and that the community can somehow find a way to heal. Sending all my support to the families affected.
